Vernier Light Sensor
 
The Vernier Light Sensor approximates the human eye in spectral response and can be used over three different illumination ranges, which you select with a switch. Use it for inverse square law experiments or for studying polarizers, reflectivity, or solar energy.

Resolution

  • 10-bit (CBL or CBL 2): 0–600 lux: 0.8 lux, 0–6000 lux: 8 lux, 0–150000 lux: 200 lux
  • 12-bit (LabPro, Go! Link, ULI, or Serial Box): 0–600 lux: 0.2 lux, 0–6000 lux: 2 lux, 0–150000 lux: 50 lux
