Vernier Microphone
 
The Vernier Microphone can be used to display and study the waveforms of sounds from voices and musical instruments. It is also great for speed of sounds measurements.

Specifications

  • Frequency range: approximately 20 Hz to 16,000 Hz, but note that the maximum data-collection rate of the interface affects the maximum frequency you can effectively sample.
  • With the LabPro or CBL 2, the maximum sound source is 5,000 Hz. With the CBL or ULI, the maximum sound source is 1,000 Hz.
